Bright Start Modular Training for different audiences

Structured, in-depth training is the best way to develop your skills and deepen your insights into important learning and cognitive abilities. A systematic approach to becoming a Bright Start practitioner will help you use the programme for children with different needs, allowing you to integrate it into their daily lives confidently in various settings.  Bright Start Modular Training is delivered through a mix of live online sessions, videos, course participant practice and support via the Bright Start Online Campus.

Educators in mainstream inclusive settings, early years and beyond

Special schools staff, therapists and psychologists

Parents, family members and other caregivers

Bright Start is appropriate for inclusive, mainstream early years settings in which children with learning and developmental difficulties learn alongside more typically developing peers.  The programme also addresses the needs of children whose difficulties may stem from social and linguistic disadvantages.  Bright Start is designed to be used alongside existing school content curricula.

Bright Start is used by those working with children who have been diagnosed with special educational needs, are at risk of developmental delay, or may be working at earlier stages of learning than their chronological age.

Training is available for parents and others in similar caregiver roles.  The emphasis on family and caregiver involvement in the cognitive development of the child is particularly important for early years and multi-agency services.
